Embed a video into a webpage Option 1: To Embed a video into a website you have to copy the embeddable code from the video and paste it into the website! Sounds hard huh? Nahh….It’s just copy and pasting and it’s very easy to do. See screen shots. First step......pick a video and click the embed button.....................Second Step.......copy code Go to your website...edit mode...In weebly...see below..................Click and paste the code! The only problem with this might be where the video is located. If it is on you tube it will be blocked at school and embedding the code still will not allow the video to be viewed in school. In that case just upload it to teacher tube which is allowed in schools. Then embed it with the code from there. Option 2: Here is another way to post it to your website if the code option (above) is not working.
1) use the "paragraph" button in Weebly and drag it to the page
2) type text to describe your digital story (a title, which program you used to create it, and any other context to help us understand the digital story sample)
3) then highlight a portion of the text and use the toolbar to select "Create a link" (the icon looks like a link in a chain)
4) then select website (world icon)
5) paste in the URL to your digital story and select the button for "open in a new window"
6) then save it and this should creat the link for you
